Online Quran Classes for Teens — Tajweed, Hifz & Tafseer, Taught With Respect
Updated 5 November 2026
Teenagers are the hardest age to teach — and the most rewarding. They're old enough to think for themselves, busy enough to resist another commitment, and smart enough to spot a boring class a mile away. So our teen classes are built differently: one-on-one, conversational, and honest about why the Quran matters.
Your teen gets a tutor who treats them like a young adult, not a small child. Lessons mix recitation with meaning: Tajweed for beautiful reading, Tafseer for understanding what the words actually say, and — for those who want it — a structured Hifz path. Classes fit around school, homework, and exams. Try 3 free classes first.
- Free 3-day trial · no credit card
- Live 1-on-1 online classes
- Qualified male & female tutors
- 24/7 — every timezone
What teens learn — and why it sticks
Teens who already read the Quran go straight to Tajweed — polishing pronunciation and rhythm until recitation sounds beautiful, not just correct. Teens who need it start (or restart) with Qaida at adult speed, without the children's materials. And every teen class includes Tafseer: the meaning behind the verses, discussed in plain language, with room for real questions.
The point isn't to pile on more work. It's to give your teen a relationship with the Quran that survives school, exams, and social media — because it was built on understanding, not pressure.
- Tajweed: polished, beautiful, correct recitation
- Tafseer: what the verses actually mean, in plain English
- Hifz: memorization with the Sabaq / Sabqi / Manzil revision system
- Qaida restart at adult speed, for teens who never finished it
- Duas, Salah, and Islamic manners — discussed, not lectured
A tutor teens actually want to show up for
Teen tutors are chosen for one extra quality: they can hold a conversation. Lessons are interactive — reciting aloud, discussing meanings, answering the questions teens actually ask — instead of a one-way lecture. Progress is shared with parents, but the class itself belongs to the teen.
Male and female tutors are available, and you can request a teacher change at any time if the fit isn't right.
- 10 qualified tutors — 5 male Qaris and 5 female Qariahs, Tanzeem-ul-Madaris qualified
- One-on-one only — no group, no audience, no embarrassment
- Respectful, conversational teaching — not children's lessons
- Parents welcome to sit in on any class
Times that fit a teen's life
School, homework, sports, exams — teens are busy. Classes are 30 minutes, at times you choose, in your own timezone: after school (usually 4–8 PM), evenings, or weekends. Exam weeks can be paused; the plan waits for them.

Frequently asked questions
What age are your teen classes for?+
Ages 13–18. Teens are taught as young adults — conversational lessons, real discussion of meanings, and no children's materials.
My teen can already read — what would they learn?+
Tajweed (polishing recitation), Tafseer (understanding meanings), and — if they want it — Hifz. The tutor assesses their level in the free trial and builds the plan from there.
My teen never finished Qaida. Is it too late?+
Not at all. Teens restart Qaida at adult speed — usually much faster than a young child — and move into Quran reading within months.
Can my teen choose a male or female teacher?+
Yes. We have qualified male Qaris and female Qariahs. Mention your teen's preference when booking.
What if exams or school get in the way?+
Pause anytime — exam weeks included — and resume when ready. Class times are whatever your teen chooses, in your own timezone.
What is the difference between the free 3-day trial and the free one-month Qaida course?+
The free 3-day trial is 3 real one-to-one lessons in any course — Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz, Tafseer or Arabic — so you can meet your tutor and try real lessons. The free one-month Qaida course is a full month of live one-to-one Qaida lessons for beginners, for the first 50 students only. They are two different offers: try 3 lessons, or take a whole free month of Qaida.
When does the free Qaida course start?+
There is no fixed start date. The course begins once enrolment is complete. Class time is whatever you choose, in your own time zone.
What are the fees for teen classes?+
Plans are based on classes per week: 2 classes/week is $25/month, 3 classes/week is $35/month, 5 classes/week is $55/month. The 3-day trial is completely free. Sibling discount is 30% off. See our fees page for full details.
