Noorani Qaida Online — The Right First Step to Reading the Quran
Every fluent Quran reader started in the same place: the alphabet. Noorani Qaida is the time-tested foundation course that teaches you to recognize Arabic letters, pronounce each one from its exact point of articulation (Makharij), join letters into words, and read with basic Tajweed rules — step by step, with a live teacher correcting you in real time.
Whether you're starting your 4-year-old's journey or you're an adult who never had the chance to learn, our 1-on-1 Noorani Qaida classes take you from zero to fluent Arabic reading — usually in 3 to 4 months. Try the first 3 classes free.

What you learn in Noorani Qaida
Noorani Qaida isn't just the alphabet — it's the complete mechanics of Arabic reading. Each lesson builds on the last, and your tutor makes sure every rule is solid before moving on.
- The Arabic alphabet: recognition, names, and shapes of all 29 letters
- Makharij: pronouncing each letter from its correct point of articulation
- Harakat (vowels): Fatha, Kasra, Damma — reading with short vowels
- Tanween, Madd (elongation), and Sukoon rules
- Joining letters into words, then words into sentences
- Basic Tajweed rules: Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, and stopping rules (Waqf)
Why learn Qaida 1-on-1 instead of from an app or YouTube?
Apps and videos can show you the letters — but they can't hear you. The whole point of Qaida is pronunciation, and pronunciation needs a trained ear. A live tutor hears the difference between similar letters (like س and ص, or ذ and ز) and corrects you instantly, before the mistake becomes permanent.
In our 1-on-1 classes, you read aloud constantly. There is no hiding at the back of the class — and that's exactly why students finish Qaida faster and read more accurately.
For kids and adults — the approach adapts to you
Children learn Qaida through short, playful, praise-filled lessons that keep them coming back happily. Adults learn with dignity and efficiency — no embarrassment about starting from the alphabet, just a clear path and a patient teacher. Many of our adult students go from zero to reading the Quran within months.
What happens after Noorani Qaida?
Graduating from Qaida is a genuine milestone — most students celebrate it. From there, you move straight into Nazra (fluent Quran reading) with your same tutor, then Tajweed to beautify your recitation. The foundation you build in Qaida determines everything that follows, which is why we never rush it.
Frequently asked questions
How long does Noorani Qaida take to complete?+
With 3 classes per week, most students — kids and adults — complete Noorani Qaida in 3–4 months. Children under 6 may take a little longer, which is completely normal.
I can't read a single Arabic letter. Is this course for me?+
Yes — that's exactly who it's for. Noorani Qaida assumes zero knowledge. Your tutor starts with the very first letter and builds up patiently.
Is Noorani Qaida only for kids?+
Not at all. Roughly half of Qaida students are adults — including new Muslims and adults who want to finally read the Quran themselves. The 1-on-1 format means the pace and style fit you perfectly.
Do I need to buy the Qaida book?+
No. Your tutor shares everything on screen during class. If you'd like a physical copy for practice between lessons, we'll tell you which edition to get — but it's optional.
How are online Qaida classes conducted?+
Live on video call, 30 minutes per class. You read aloud while the tutor listens, corrects, and guides. Between classes, short practice keeps progress steady.
What does the free trial include?+
Three real classes with your tutor — including a friendly assessment of your starting level and a clear plan for completing Qaida. No credit card required.
