The Ijazah system has preserved the Quran's precise recitation for 1,400 years: each generation recites to the previous one, creating an unbroken living chain. Holding an Ijazah means you are certified to teach and transmit the Quran exactly as you received it.

How do I know if I'm ready for Ijazah?+

How long does the online Ijazah take?+
Typically 12–24 months at 3–5 classes per week, depending on your starting level and consistency. The full Quran must be recited completely — there is no accelerated version of this process.
Is an online Ijazah authentic?+
Yes — what matters is the live, teacher-to-student transmission and the Sheikh's own unbroken Sanad, both of which our program preserves. The recitation, correction, and authorization all happen live, exactly as in person.
Which Qira'ah is the Ijazah in?+
Standard Ijazah is in Hafs 'an 'Aasim, the most widely recited narration. Students who complete Hafs may pursue additional Qira'at.
