Class times that fit Norwegian family life

Norway runs on Central European Time (CET, UTC+1), with daylight saving (CEST, UTC+2) in the summer. Most children take classes between 4–8 PM local time on weekdays, right after homework — and weekend mornings work well for Hifz and intensive tracks.

You pick the exact days and times in your timezone; we match a tutor whose schedule fits yours. Teachers are available around the clock, so early mornings before school are possible too.

  • Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger — and everywhere in between
  • After school 4–8 PM CET/CEST, or weekend mornings
  • Classes in English, with Urdu and Arabic support
  • Same tutor every class, at times you choose

A complete path — from first letters to confident recitation

Most children begin with Noorani Qaida, where they master the Arabic alphabet, the joining of letters, and the basic rules of pronunciation. From there they move into Nazra (fluent Quran reading), then Tajweed (beautiful, correct recitation) — and for those who wish, a structured Hifz program with daily revision.

Lessons are short, focused, and interactive. Young learners stay engaged because the class revolves around them: reciting aloud, gentle correction, and small wins every single session.

  • Noorani Qaida: alphabet, Makharij (pronunciation points), and joining rules
  • Nazra: fluent, confident reading of the Quran
  • Tajweed: the rules of beautiful and correct recitation
  • Hifz: memorization with the Sabaq / Sabqi / Manzil revision system
  • Daily duas, Salah practice, and Islamic manners woven into lessons

Safe, patient teachers your child will look forward to

A child's Quran journey lives or dies on the teacher. Our tutors are chosen for two things: mastery of Tajweed and genuine patience with children. Classes are warm and encouraging — children are praised for effort, corrected with kindness, and never rushed or scolded.

Prefer a female teacher for your daughter — or your son? Just ask when you book. We have qualified male Qaris and female Qariahs, and you can request a teacher change at any time if the fit isn't right.

  • 10 qualified tutors — 5 male Qaris and 5 female Qariahs, Tanzeem-ul-Madaris qualified
  • Parents welcome to sit in on any class
  • Private 1-on-1 only — your child is the only student in the class
  • All contact through the academy — WhatsApp +1 917 722 5120 or info@quranhub.online

How the free trial works

The 3-day free trial is a real trial, not a sales call. Your child meets their tutor, gets a friendly level assessment, and experiences actual live classes. No credit card, no obligation — and if you continue, the same tutor stays with your child.

  • Day 1: meet the tutor + free level assessment
  • Days 2–3: real live classes with the same tutor
  • You receive honest feedback on your child's level and a recommended plan
  • Continue only if you're happy — pause or cancel anytime

Frequently asked questions

What age can my child start online Quran classes in Norway?+

Children can start as young as 4, once they can sit and focus for short periods. Most students begin between ages 4 and 7 with Noorani Qaida. Lessons for young children are kept short (30 minutes) and highly interactive.

How long until my child can read the Quran?+

Children typically complete Noorani Qaida in 2–6 months, depending on classes per week — with 3 classes per week most finish in about 3–4 months — and begin reading the Quran (Nazra) fluently within 6–9 months after that. Your tutor will give you an honest assessment after the free trial.

Can I choose a female Quran teacher for my child?+

Absolutely. We have qualified female teachers (Qariahs), and many parents choose them for their daughters — and sons. Just mention your preference when booking and we'll match you accordingly.

What do we need for the class?+

Just a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and internet connection, plus a quiet corner. Classes run on common video-call apps — we'll walk you through setup on WhatsApp before the first class.

What are the fees for Quran classes in Norway?+

Plans are based on classes per week: 2 classes/week is $25/month, 3 classes/week is $35/month, 5 classes/week is $55/month. The 3-day trial is completely free. Sibling discount is 30% off. See our fees page for full details.

What is the difference between the free 3-day trial and the free one-month Qaida course?+

The free 3-day trial is 3 real one-to-one lessons in any course — Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz, Tafseer or Arabic — so you can meet your tutor and try real lessons. The free one-month Qaida course is a full month of live one-to-one Qaida lessons for beginners, for the first 50 students only. They are two different offers: try 3 lessons, or take a whole free month of Qaida.

When does the free Qaida course start?+

There is no fixed start date. The course begins once enrolment is complete. Class time is whatever you choose, in your own time zone.

What time are the classes in Norway?+

Whatever time you choose, in your own time zone — morning, after school, evening or weekend. Most Norwegian families choose 4–8 PM CET/CEST. Tell us your free days and times on WhatsApp (+1 917 722 5120) and we arrange it around you.
