Arabic Language Course Online — Learn the Language of the Quran

Updated 1 November 2026

Reading the Quran is one blessing; understanding the words you read is another. QuranHub's Arabic language course teaches you the language of the Quran itself — from the alphabet to Quranic grammar — live and one-to-one with a qualified tutor.

Whether you want to understand your Salah, follow the Quran as you read it, or give your child the language alongside their recitation, the course meets you at your level: complete beginners start with the alphabet, and readers build towards grammar and understanding. Start with 3 free trial classes.

  • Free 3-day trial · no credit card
  • Live 1-on-1 online classes
  • Qualified male & female tutors
  • 24/7 — every timezone

What the Arabic course covers

The course follows the natural order of the language: first the sounds and the script, then reading, then the words themselves, then the grammar that ties them together. Your tutor keeps every stage practical — you learn the Arabic you meet in the Quran, not abstract rules for their own sake.

  • The Arabic alphabet: letters, sounds, and how they join — the same foundation as Noorani Qaida
  • Reading Arabic: words and sentences read aloud, with live correction of every sound
  • Vocabulary from the Quran: the words you meet most in recitation and in Salah
  • Quranic grammar foundations (Sarf & Nahw): how words change form and how sentences fit together, taught in plain terms
  • Understanding what you recite: connecting the grammar back to the verses you already know

Who the Arabic course is for

Anyone who wants the Quran to speak to them directly, rather than only through translation. The 1-on-1 format means the teaching fits the person in front of the tutor.

  • Adults who can read the Quran and now want to understand what they recite
  • Kids learning Arabic alongside their Qaida and Quran reading
  • New Muslims building the language from the very beginning
  • Students of Islamic studies who need Arabic for their further learning

How lessons work

Live 1-on-1 video classes, 30 minutes each, at days and times you choose, in your own time zone. You read and speak Arabic aloud throughout — this is a doing course, not a listening course — and your tutor corrects you as you go. If the fit ever feels off, you can switch tutors free of charge.

Meet your teachers

Your teacher is one of our qualified qaris. Three of our teachers are Qari Ateeq Ur Rahman, Qari Sardar Ahmad, and Qari Muhammad Saqib — each Tanzeem-ul-Madaris qualified with an M.A. in Arabic & Islamiyat, based in Pakistan. Qualified female teachers (Qariahs) are available on request, and you can ask for a different tutor at any time.

Our prices — the same on every page

One flat monthly price by classes per week, for every course — no per-course pricing, no extra charge for a female teacher, no registration fee. All plans are one-to-one live classes, 30 minutes each, with a qualified tutor — male Qari or female Qariah, your choice. Every plan includes the same qualified tutors at no extra cost.

Try it free first — two free ways, and they are different: the free 3-day trial is 3 real one-to-one lessons with your tutor, and no card is needed. The FREE One Month Qaida Course is a full month of live one-to-one Qaida lessons with a real teacher, for the first 50 students only — finish the month and get a certificate, plus 50% off your next course (valid 30 days). There is no fixed start date — the course begins once enrolment is complete — and class time is whatever you choose, in your own time zone.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know any Arabic to start?+

No. Complete beginners start with the alphabet — the same first step as Noorani Qaida. If you can already read, your tutor assesses your level in the free trial and starts from there.

Will I understand the Quran after this course?+

That is the goal the course is built around: vocabulary and grammar taught through the words of the Quran itself, so understanding grows as your reading grows. It takes steady study — your tutor gives you an honest picture of the path after the trial, and no finish date is promised.

Is Arabic taught separately from Quran classes?+

It can be either. Some students take Arabic as its own course; others combine it with Quran reading, Tajweed or Hifz. Tell us your goal on WhatsApp and we will suggest the mix that fits.

What is the difference between the free 3-day trial and the free one-month Qaida course?+

The free 3-day trial is 3 real one-to-one lessons in any course — Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz, Tafseer or Arabic — so you can meet your tutor and try real lessons. The free one-month Qaida course is a full month of live one-to-one Qaida lessons for beginners, for the first 50 students only. They are two different offers: try 3 lessons, or take a whole free month of Qaida.

Is the free month really free?+

Yes. The free one-month Qaida course costs $0 — no card, no payment details. It is limited to the first 50 students, and it ends with a certificate plus 50% off your next course (valid 30 days).

When does the free Qaida course start?+

There is no fixed start date. The course begins once enrolment is complete. Class time is whatever you choose, in your own time zone.

What happens after the free month?+

You get a certificate, plus 50% off your next course (valid 30 days). If you continue, you join any paid plan ($25 / $35 / $55 per month). If you stop, nothing is charged.

Do I need a card for the free trial?+

No. The free 3-day trial needs no card and no payment details.

How much do online Quran classes cost?+

$25 a month for 2 lessons a week, $35 a month for 3 lessons a week (most popular), or $55 a month for 5 lessons a week. That is $3.13, $2.92 and $2.75 per class. All lessons are one-to-one, live, 30 minutes.

Does a female teacher cost more?+

No. A female Qariah costs the same as a male Qari on every plan.

Who teaches at QuranHub?+

10 qualified tutors — 5 male Qaris and 5 female Qariahs, Tanzeem-ul-Madaris qualified, based in Pakistan, teaching students in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and other countries.

What time are the classes?+

Whatever time you choose, in your own time zone — morning, after school, evening or weekend. Tell us your free days and times on WhatsApp (+1 917 722 5120) and we arrange it around you.

What age can a child start?+

Children can start from age 4 with the Qaida. There is no upper age limit — adults and new Muslims start from zero too.

Can adults learn?+

Yes. Adults learn one-to-one, from the Qaida if needed, at times they choose — including new Muslims and returning learners.
